Hi, I’m Miri.
I’ve spent 25+ years studying relational and organizational dynamics across multiple industries including mental health, content production, brand management and marketing. Throughout my career I have studied how people relate; to themselves, to the people closest to them, to their communities and cultural identities. What I’ve learned is that most relational suffering is rooted not in specific people, but more in the calcified patterns we find ourselves repeating. We tend to conflate what’s familiar with what is beneficial, disempowered by repeating problematic relational behaviors despite our best efforts to change.
My coaching style is intentional, direct, warm and practical. I’ll name what I see, help you understand why you do what you do, and give you tools you can use the same day. I believe in the dialectic of opposing, coexisting truths: you can be a highly capable, outwardly successful person and still feel stuck and stagnating; you can be generously loving while still heartbroken by previous setbacks; you can feel ready for change and completely terrified by it at the same time.
In addition to my coaching and consulting practice, I’m also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, trained in relational and attachment-based approaches, working with couples and individuals. That training shapes how I listen and what I notice, and it informs my coaching, which is a separate practice from my therapy work.
Before this work, I spent years in broadcast journalism, marketing and brand management: careers built on understanding how people see themselves and how they come across to others. That curiosity is still at the heart of what I do.
I’m based in Los Angeles and work with clients online across the US and Europe.
How I work: the four foundational pillars
Awareness. Seeing your patterns clearly, including the ones that are hard to look at.
Empathy. For yourself and for the people in your life, without letting anyone off the hook.
Accountability. Owning your part, and turning insight into action.
Empowerment. Choosing how you show up, instead of repeating what you’ve always done.
